You will be served by an empathetic and artistic helper that has grown up in two ethnic cultures – born American into a Russian/German immigrant family. I am fluent in Russian as well.
The focus is on capitalizing your strengths to help you achieve your goals. I am interested in you and passionate about what you want to get out of therapy. My tuned-in empathy establishes that you have an ally as you share your pains and joys. This is a place to grow in a holistic way, being more of whom you were created to be.
Be creative. We can look at life outside the box you are living in and examine what has worked as well as alternative thinking and behaviors. Together we will look at leveraging your strengths and build scaffolding around your weaknesses.
You will receive Christian Counseling with the benefit of a practical solution-based approach, art therapy skills, and practices from Contemplative Christianity.

During the summer I celebrate long warm days, peaches, sour cherries, the Denver Botanic Gardens, Colorado high country wildflower hikes and sometimes a meteor shower or eclipse. Holidays, black tea, soup and bread to share with family and friends, starry nights, a cozy fire, snowshoeing and cross-country skiing are my favorite things in the winter.

During the summer I turned nine, my parents sent me to a one week Vacation Bible School where I asked Jesus to be my friend and my Savior. Shortly afterwards, my family stopped going to church. My mom became a born again Christian when I was in high school and gave me my first Bible the same year she threatened suicide. During the same time my dad was becoming an atheist. Those were very confusing and chaotic years.
In my journey I have encountered love, abortion, marriage, birth and death, parenting, infidelity, divorce, being a single parent, as well as remarriage. The Holy Spirit is the One that lives in me to teach, counsel, convict, heal and restore. He has taken away trash thinking and behaviors as I continue to open my heart to receive the fullness of His undeserved generosity. Jesus Christ is transforming my ability to be accepting and aware. I claim my identity in Christ. He is mine and I am His.
